Last week Camron launched Sainsbury’s Autumn/Winter & Christmas 2014 home and lifestyle collections alongside fashion and food at London’s iconic Somerset House. On the hottest day of the year, over 350 press stepped off London’s busy streets and into ‘Christmas’, a strong contrast to the weather outside! The Navy and Portico board rooms showcased Sainsbury’s home offering introducing the three new trends to press; striking Indigo Blue, eclectic Folk Tales and elegant Dreamscape, as well as Sainsbury’s Christmas decorations and seasonal collections.
Press also had the opportunity to meet Sainsbury’s Director of General Merchandise James Brown and Head of Home Design Emma Mann, who offered insight into the thinking behind the new collections. With delicious canapés and refreshing Prosecco, press wandered from room to room, viewing the different offerings, from chocolate to cheese to gifting and fashion, and the event was regarded as Sainsbury’s’ biggest and most successful launch of the year.
