News Melody Lee To Spearhead US Growth For Camron

Camron, has announced the appointment of Melody Lee to a newly established role, Director and Principal, with the mandate to scale its business in the United States. The full-service communications and brand strategy firm founded and headquartered in London has, over the past decade, grown its US operations to 25 people in New York, with a bureau in Los Angeles. In 2018, Camron was acquired by MTM Choice, a holding group for leading specialist design and technology agencies.

Melody was previously vice president for brand development at the global beauty company Shiseido. In that position, she led some of the company’s most critical strategic initiatives across a comprehensive remit of brand strategy, product development, marketing and communications, and operational planning. Prior to Shiseido, Melody spent six years with Cadillac. There, as head of brand marketing, Melody oversaw brand strategy, global planning, partnerships and experiences as well as marketing innovation. Before joining Cadillac, Melody was executive vice president at global PR agency Hill+Knowlton Strategies from 2006 to 2012, where she led high-stakes communications campaigns for Fortune 500 corporations. “Organizations built for the future put design at the center, creatively solving problems by staying true to the consumer. Camron’s clients and its global team do this better than anyone,” said Melody Lee. “It’s my privilege to join them in advancing this understanding for the benefit of the agency and its current and future clients.”

Sarah Natkins, who joined Camron in 2011 and has overseen Camron’s expansion in the US to date will take up a new position, leading strategy for clients invested in design internationally as Global Head of Design. Strategic communication, which leverages design principles and storytelling, is widely recognized as one of the firm’s core competencies and differentiators.

To accompany the leadership moves, Camron has made two additional senior appointments in New York. Alli Stanca, formerly of Derris joins as Senior Associate Director, with a focus on brand strategy and Alexandre Corda, formerly Managing Director at Optimist Consulting, has joined to lead digital in the US.
