News BoF VOICES 2020
“VOICES represents everything The Business of Fashion stands for. It’s where we gain insights and learnings from the world’s foremost leaders, thinkers, activists and experts. These are the people shaping the society and culture we live in, far beyond the silos of the fashion industry”
Imran Amed, Founder and CEO of The Business of Fashion
Westbourne Grove, London

The Business of Fashion’s (BoF) annual gathering for big thinkers, a three-day virtual event, which took place in early-December 2020, brought together the most international community of fashion industry professionals ever assembled – from business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, creatives, activists, and other shapers of our world.

For this fifth annual edition, BoF transformed a former retail space in London’s Westbourne Grove into a broadcast studio, where it streamed a series of provocative talks, panels and interactive discussions. VOICES 2020 offered charged conversations about fashion’s role in the wider world in a time of intense disruption and global unrest, addressed the industry’s most important challenges and opportunities, explored how new technologies will change future consumer behaviour, and debated how the pandemic is completely reshaping the retail landscape. Speakers from around the globe participated in these discussions, from the fashion world and beyond, such as: Kim Jones, Artistic Director of Dior Men; Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Loewe & JW Anderson; Remo Ruffini, Chairman & Chief Executive of Moncler; Sinéad Burke, Activist; Virgil Abloh, Creative Director, Off-White & Louis Vuitton Men; and Sojin Lee, Founder & CEO, Toshi.
