For the second year running, influential online magazine Sight Unseen returned to New York Design Week with an expansive and exciting lineup. Once more, the festival tapped into the diverse global talent pool to present a curated selection of furniture and product launches by independent design studios and forward-thinking brands. Sight Unseen OFFSITE was held over two floors at Hudson Mercantile, a 12,000 square-foot photo studio located one block from where the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) is held annually.

For the second edition of the design fair, Sight Unseen partnered with Ford to create an immersive, large-scale installation, entitled Dynamic Sanctuary. Designed by The Principals, the installation read visitors’ heart rates and responded accordingly to light. For the first time ever, Sight Unseen partnered with Collective Design, an annual fair that features works from a global roster of established and emerging galleries, to present a special Sight Unseen OFFSITE installation.

Additional highlights included an American Design Club x Roll & Hill exhibition, the launch of Print All Over Me Home – a floor-to-ceiling living-room concept decked out in different designer’s prints each day, and a creative interactive installation by HGTV’s Katie Stout.
