October 2018 - Camron was engaged by the design institution Biennale Interieur to activate a new communications strategy for the 26th edition of the expo in Kortrijk, Belgium. The aim was to consolidate international media outreach and implement a cohesive media strategy and vision for the Expo and City Festival in October 2018. Camron’s goal was to amplify the key elements of this year’s programme and to reach new audiences through strategic and timely communication with the press. There are many fairs and events in the global design calendar and our approach was to make this one of the must-visit events on the schedule.

Objectives:
· To position Biennale Interieur as a leading global design biennale and a must-visit event for the international design community
· To promote the mix of key brands at Biennale Interieur from big names, emerging talent and innovation
· To raise awareness of the history and gravitas of Biennale Interieur which celebrated its 50th year in 2018
· To establish the Interieur Awards as a stepping stone for young international talent
· To work with Biennale Interieur to assemble high quality visual materials to support the news on key initiatives and the brands participating in the event
· To promote the Interieur Festival, the satellite city-wide programme which coincides with the Fair in Kortrijk

Strategy:
· Create a strategic media plan to raise awareness around Biennale Interieur on an international stage and in key markets
· Manage a proactive and efficient press office for international media in the run up to and during Biennale Interieur
· Organise a preview press trip for international media in May to coincide with the Biennale Interieur press conference in Brussels
· Create and issue a series of press releases from May onwards highlighting key touch points, including exhibitor news, lecture series and other programming
· Host an international press trip during Biennale Interieur in October to showcase the full design offering at the Expo, Festival and other cultural highlights of Kortrijk

Results:
· Six Press Releases
· Two press trips hosted by Camron including catalyst design publications from Italy, France, US, UK, Germany, Sweden & Denmark
· Over 65 significant UK and international pieces of coverage generated including features in IDEAT, Monocle, Elle Decor Italia and Design Anthology
· Over 42 million total circulation to date
