Intelligence Mah-Ze-Dahr Bakery

Tucked away in Greenwich Village, Mah-Ze-Dahr bakery opened their doors in 2016 after a much-anticipated wait. Originally acting as an online-only business, the new location is their first “brick-and-mortar” storefront. Selling coveted brioche doughnuts and cocoa-crusted-cookie cheesecake, the bakery has built up an impressive following since its initial conception.

This summer, founder and head chef Umber Ahmad adds a new item to their menu: soft-serve ice cream. The bakery offers a vanilla bean or dark chocolate soft serve, with rotating flavours during the coming summer months. Toppings range from marshmallow meringue kisses to fudgy brownie chunks, served in a homemade waffle cone for good measure. Breaking away from the bakery’s conventional goods, this summer sweet treat should not be missed.
