This year marks the 44th annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House. Located on the upper east side, the show house features work of celebrated designers through the transformation of a luxe Manhattan townhouse.
The concept house features the work of twenty-one designers and architects who have transformed The Carlton House Townhouse into a dream home. The rooms vary from modern living spaces and chic country bedrooms to an outdoor terrace covered in greenery and occupy 15,000-square-feet.
This year 15,000 people are expected to tour the Kips Bay Show House. This space is not only for designers to visit to become inspiration it also serves as a non-profit that raises money for the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. The money raised is used to fund after school and enrichment programs for New York City children. The house will be open to the public through June 9th.
