A new kind of food place geared not only toward fueling your body, but also your brain opened up in the heart of NOHO this December. Founded by three siblings, one of which is a neurologist who has focused on “how nutrition and lifestyle affect brain function,” Honeybrains aims to provide tasty food that makes you feel good.
As their mission states, “At Honeybrains, [they] promise to work diligently to continue to learn and improve [their] understanding of the most reliable, scientific knowledge about brain and body health, so that [they] can continually provide you with experiences that can improve our (collective) lives.”
We went for lunch and though it was a hard choice, we both decided on the daily catch plates, which come with Wild Salmon or Whitefish of the Day (which was Sea Bass), spiced sweet potatoes, wilted kale, crushed peanuts, and a lemon dressing. It was delicious and we will be back soon to try something new.
