A fall weekend in Hudson, New York simply wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Hawkins New York on Warren Street, for their expertly-curated home goods. But for the first time, NYC-dwellers no longer have to make the 2 ½ hour drive north. In October, Hawkins New York opened their first Manhattan outpost nestled in the heart of the West Village on Hudson Street.
Owners Nicholas Blaine and Paul Denoly renovated the space and peeled decades-old back old carpet to reveal a stunning mosaic tiled floor. They offer up a similarly impeccable selection of artisanal textiles, ceramics, jewelry, and furniture—but in this case, particularly well-suited to NYC-sized apartments. Shop Hawkins New York’s own collection of vintage-meets-modern home goods and local indie artisans like Eric Trine, Alyson Fox, Iris Hantverk, Andrew Molleur, Slowood Studios, and Hay Design. Our wishlist just became a mile-long.
