Tucked away in bustling Baker Street is the Atlas Gallery a beacon of photography genius having displayed works from artists and photographers such as Eleanor Macnair, Erwin Blumenfield and Irving Penn.
The gallery is just big enough for one concise exhibition, the most recent being 60 Years of Fashion Photography from renowned photographers including Helmut Newton and Tony McGee. Charting iconic and experimental images from 1950s until today, the exhibition is a succinct summary of the way that this photographic medium has evolved and developed, from capturing elegant silhouetted portraits to energetic street fashion.
