To brighten up the cold wintery evenings, 31 dazzling interactive light installations have been set up throughout Canary Wharf against a backdrop of towering skyscrapers. For two weeks, visitors can wander around to see the business district in a very different light all for free. Meander around pillars of colourful lights with ‘Cathedral of Mirrors’ on Adams Plaza, then rest your tired legs on ‘LightBench’, a stretch of lit-up benches that line Canada Square Park. Other installations, like ‘Liter of Light’ on the Roof Garden of Crossrail Place, have a global message of hope for environmental sustainability.
