Based in Gandia, Spain COMPAC has two modern production centres for MARBLE (Spain) and QUARTZ (Portugal), with a combined capacity of over 4.5 million square meters (48,437,597 ft²) of products per year. A large-scale company with over 400 professionals, whose common aim is to improve COMPAC products every day and offer a better and more complete service to customers.
The 40th Anniversary of COMPAC marks the recognition of a company history that includes their forward-looking entrepreneurial spirit and an ongoing avant-garde focus. In these four decades, the company has conquered the international market with premium quality products that are well differentiated from the competition thanks to their finishes, colours and trend-setting concepts. COMPAC is considered to be one of the top eco-efficient companies in its industry. To minimise the impact of its industrial activities on the environment, the company regularly revises its production processes and makes substantial investments in R&D&I in the search for the optimum eco-friendliness and the best use of available natural resources.
In 2016 artist and designer Arik Levy designed the Ice of Genesis quartz collection for COMPAC which was launched at Design Miami/ 2016. COMPAC also collaborated with Levy on the Mineral Gravity installation at Somerset House for Design Frontiers during London Design Festival 2017 which included a special presentation of edible minerals by Studio Appetit.
New work for COMPAC in 2018 includes the launch of two new collections as well as the production of the Stepwell Table, designed by Coffey Architects for Wallpaper* Handmade 2018.
