André Fu is one of the world’s most sought-after architects who became known overnight when he redefined notions of luxury hospitality with his design of the Upper House hotel in Hong Kong. His creations range from a furniture collaboration with Louis Vuitton’s Objets Nomades to major hotels around the world including Villa La Coste in Provence, The Berkeley London, St Regis Hong Kong, Waldorf Astoria Bangkok and Hotel The Mitsui Kyoto.
In 2019, he successfully launched André Fu Living (AFL), a collection of lifestyle products that reflect his signature modern style.
A monograph on his work, Crossing Cultures with Design, was published in 2020 by Thames and Hudson, exploring the development of Fu’s highly refined aesthetic and its relevance on the international design stage.
Fu’s distinctive approach to interior architecture combines the rigorous pursuit of contemporary Asian aesthetics with his trademark understanding of proportion, light and space.
